Accessibility
All spaces in Turku City Theatre are wheelchair accessible.
Accessible parking
Three accessible parking spots are available on the side of the theate building facing Itsenäisyydenaukio park (on the right side of the building when viewed from the direction of the river). There are also two street parking spots in front of the theatre building, which are accessible from 6 PM onwards. These stops can be found between the pillars at the front of the building and the bus-stop.
Wheelchair-friendly seats
A limited amount of wheelchair friendly seats ate available for each performance. Customers using wheelchairs should book a seat well in advance by dialing 02 262 0030 or by contacting our sales team via e-mail: myynti@tkteatteri.fi
Infrared
All theatre auditoriums are equipped with infrared technologies capable of transmitting an assistive listening audio signal.
In order to access the signal, you will need to borrow an infrared receiver and hearing loop from the lobby. The apparatus must be kept clearly visible. The neck loop of the receiver creates a magnetic field around your head, to which you can connect by switching on the “T” or “loop” programme of your hearing aid.
For more information, please contact our sales department in advance by dialing 02 262 0030 or by via e-mail: myynti@tkteatteri.fi
