Accessibility
All spaces in Turku City Theatre are wheelchair accessible.
Accessible parking
The theatre’s accessible parking spaces are located near the main entrance on Itäinen Rantakatu. Drop-off traffic to the main entrance must approach from the direction of Martti. Stopping in front of the theatre is allowed for drop-off purposes, but parking is not permitted.
Subtitles
Some of our performances are subtitled in English and in Easy Finnish. You can follow the subtitles using the Subtitle Mobile app. Please download the free app and make sure your mobile device is fully charged in advance.

Set your phone to silent or do not disturb mode, open the Subtitle Mobile app, and enter the four-digit code found on the performance page and your ticket. Select the subtitle language. The subtitles will start automatically when the performance begins.
Infrared
All theatre auditoriums are equipped with infrared technologies capable of transmitting an assistive listening audio signal.
In order to access the signal, you will need to borrow an infrared receiver and hearing loop from the lobby. The apparatus must be kept clearly visible. The neck loop of the receiver creates a magnetic field around your head, to which you can connect by switching on the “T” or “loop” programme of your hearing aid.
